I'm full swing into Week 1 of my tri training - going from 8 hours of exercise in a week to 12 hours is an adjustment! But I'm enjoying it so far, and will be recapping each week - I have found it's really helpful to keep track of your training details to look back on and compare, to make sure that you're on track to meet your goals (it appeals to my mathematical side I think).
Paul ran in the Oriflamme 50K last Saturday, and he came in at 5:49 - a new 50K PR!! He came through the race unscathed, and put up an awesome time! I'm so proud of how much he has put into ultrarunning, and the old saying that you get out what you put in is 100% true... he puts so much into his running, and it has given him a new life!
I went geocaching on Saturday with a couple of friends and my 6yo while Paul was racing - and let me tell you, geocaching can be hazardous!
